48 hours in Willemstad
Pastel facades, a swinging bridge and the best way to split your time between Punda and Otrobanda.
Willemstad is small enough to walk and layered enough to reward slowness. Start early on the Punda side, when the light on Handelskade is soft.
Cross the Queen Emma bridge — if it swings open for a ship, enjoy the free ferry instead. Otrobanda's alleys are full of murals and small cafés.
On day two, pair a morning museum visit with a late-afternoon food walk, and finish with sunset over Sint Anna Bay.
